The celebrations started late at night and continued till morning. But the party is not yet over and will continue till New Year. CBSE Decided to Go Cashless- According to Leading Indian News Sources

The board has asked all the schools affiliated with it to stop accepting money from students in the form of cash from January 2017. 

According to the sources, it has been known that secretary of CBSE- Joseph Emmanuel wrote a letter to the schools affiliated with CBSE to stop accepting student’s fee in cash from 2017. This step is taken to reduce cash transactions and promote cashless transactions in the country. Everybody is aware that country is passing through tough times because of demonetisation. Unavailability of cash has urged the authorities to go cashless so that transactions do not suffer and normal working do not get disturbed. 

The CBSE Board has also asked the school authorities to interact with the parents of the children during Parent Teachers Meetings to make them aware about the benefits of cashless transactions. Moreover, the CBSE circular has also asked the schools to take the help of senior students to make their neighbours aware about the benefits of cashless transactions. The CBSE has also introduced e-payment facility to collect exam-fee, affiliation and making payments to exam invigilators. Abhinav Verma Arrested with Fake Currency Notes- Latest News Headline in India

You must have heard about a young engineer- Abhinav Verma, who was appreciated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an event last year. Same guy was arrested last week for printing fake notes of newly introduced currency of Rs 2000, which is the latest news headline in India. He was arrested by Punjab Police with Rs 42 Lakh fake currency in Mohali, India. Abhinav was arrested along with his cousin- Vishaka Verma and Suman Nagpal- Ludhiana based property dealer. According to the reports, it has been known that three of them were duping people by exchanging old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes on a 30% commission. 

As per the statement of Parminder Singh, SP Mohali, the fake currency was recovered from an Audi SUV car, which was used by Abhinav Verma. The car, which he was using (above mentioned), also had red beacon, which is only allowed for VVIP’s. From last many days, police officials has been conducting raids to arrest people who are involved in duping people by offering them fake currency notes. The police officials were stunned to know they have arrested the same man, which as praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

If you do not know who Abhinav Verma is, then you must know that he is an engineering graduate, who is into manufacturing sensors, which are installed in the sticks of the visually impaired and handicap people. His office is situated in Chandigarh. 21 year old Abhinav Verma and his MBA Student cousin along with the help of property dealer were dispending fake currency to the people who were looking to convert their unaccounted wealth into white money. The currency notes recovered by Punjab Police officials have same serial number.

Schools in Delhi to Remain Close for 3 Days Due to Pollution

He also added that water will be sprinkled on the roads and vacuum cleaning will be carried out on the 100 feet wide roads. He also ordered that burning of the leaves will not be allowed and if done, the salaries of the concerned officers will be deducted. In addition to all these measures, Mr. Kejriwal also said that he will seek centre’s help and have asked for artificial rains through helicopter and cloud seeding.

Manmeet Alisher's Brutal Killing in Brisbane led Everyone Shocked and Surprised

A young Indian immigrant has been burnt to death in Brisbane, Australia, which is the latest trending news these days. Manmeet Alisher, who was prominent im Punjabi community, last week was burnt to death when a passenger threw some inflammable liquid on him. Similar cases of hatism and racism were reported back in 2009, when many young Indian migrants were killed.

Terror Attack on Police Academy in Pakistan

According to the latest resources, it has been found that more than 40 people got killed and dozens got injured, when three terrorists attack police training facility in Quetta, Balochistan. The attack on Balochistan Police College, which is located east of capital Quetta happened around 11 pm with gun fires continuously hitting the place. The home minister of Balochistan- Sarfaraz Bugti told the reporters that militants attacked the province by continuously firing. They had their suicide jackets on. He also corrected the number of militants with earlier 3 to 6. They first targeted watch tower sentry and after killing the officials over there, they were able to enter into the academy grounds. Later on, he was found tweeting that the death toll reached to 44 and the count of the injured people increased more than 118. This was the third deadliest attacks that happened in Pakistan this year. 

 The chief of Paramilitary Frontier Corps- Major General Sher Afgan said that the attack got over in 3 hours after they arrived. He also told the reporters that the communication of the militants intercept that they belong to the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi group, which is affiliated with the Pakistani Taliban. They were in continuous communication with the operatives of Afghanistan. The compound was housing nearly 700 recruits when the attack took place. Hundreds of people were rescued and sent to hospitals. Military helicopters also overhead the place.

This is the first attack that has taken place after tension between India and Pakistan. Burari Delhi Murder Case

Another horrifying incident that has taken place in the national capital Delhi is the Burari murder case. The people of the nation has still not forgotten Nirbhaya Rape case, which took place in 2012, yet another incident has taken place which has shocked the nation. Last week, a stalker stabbed a woman to death in the crowded market of the Burari Delhi. It has been come to forefront that stalker stabbed a woman nearly 30 times. After he killed the girl, he himself called the police to inform that he has killed someone. The deputy commissioner of Police confirmed that they received call from some Surendra singh informing that he killed the victim Karuna.

During questioning, Surendra singh revealed that he and victim were in relationship for three years before it ended in 2015. The family of the victim also registered complaint against Surendra about harassing their daughter. The entire incident also got captured in a CCTV camera and has got viral also. The accident shows a stalker comes from back and started stabbing a girl in the crowded market of the Burari region of Delhi. He stabbed the girl for more than 28 times untill she died. After seeing her lay in the pool of the blood, he called police and informed about the murder.

The police chased and arrested the stalker. He is now in judicial custody and case has been registered against him. The Deputy Police Commissioner told the reporters that they have booked harassment and murder case against the stalker. They have disturbing CCTV footage as well which they will present as solid proof against the criminal.

This is yet another disturbing crime that has taken place in the national capital of India in the daylight, and has put question mark to the security of the girls.

Anurag Thakur Seeks Justifications on ICC Accounts – Latest Sports News in Hindi

The latest Indian art and culture news is, UNESCO has listed Chandigarh’s Capitol Complex and Khangchendzonga National Park in the world heritage sites. The decision regarding this was taken by the 40th session of the world heritage committee of UNESC,O which was held in Istanbul, Turkey. KNP has been added to the list because it exhibits the qualities of both cultural and natural significance. KNP has now become the first ‘mixed heritage site’ from India. It covers 25% area of the Sikkim and is said to home to a significant number of endemic, rare and threatened species and plants.

The park also includes the unique diversity of the animals, plants, plains, lakes, glaciers and snow capped mountains which are covered with ancient forests. KNP is truly an example of traditional knowledge and environmental preservation. On the other hand, Chandigarh’s Capitol Complex was also added in the Transnational Category. The Capitol Complex of Chandigarh was designed by Swiss French architecture- Le Corbusier. The site has been added to the list in recognition of Le Corbusier’s architectural works in the different parts of the world. The Chandigarh’s capitol complex was designed by the Swiss French architecture as a symbol of the modern and independent India.

In the 40th session of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO, three sites from India were inscribed in the list. Earlier, Bihar’s Nalnda University was also added in the list. With this, India has now 35 heritage sites, including 27 cultural heritage sites, 7 natural sites and 1 mixed site. Indian Gymnast Dipa Karmakar Shines at Rio Olympics

Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) Experienced a 47 % turn down on the net Profit

Hindustan Zinc Ltd. (HZL) faced a decline of 47% in the net profits, during the first quarter of FY17, which is led by taxes, higher depreciation and lower investment income. It has been reported in the latest India business news that the HZL’s revenue went down by 30% to Rs 2501.47 crore, as compared to Rs 3595 crore in the previous year. This has been led by mainly the lower prices offered at London Metal Exchange and the lower zinc volume. However, higher silver prices and higher rupee depreciation are also partly responsible for this decline.

About 33% y-o-y decline has been experienced by the company in EBITDA during the quarter. It happened largely because of the reason that the production cost of the zinc metal has shown an increase of 22%, during the quarter. However, the impact was partly offset by lower commodity and coal prices, higher by-product credits and the cost optimization projects in procurement.

In the case of silver, EBITDA went up 32% during the quarter; its value reached Rs 293 crore from Rs 222 crore. According to HZL’s statement, a smaller investment corpus, in the beginning of the quarter, resulted in the lower investment income. And this lower investment along with higher depreciation and higher tax rates, led to the decline in the net profits by 47%.

Agnivesh Aggarwal, the chairman at HZL, said that in line with their expectations and zinc fundamentals, the zinc prices increased 14% in the first quarter of FY2017, as compared to the previous quarter. He said that the rally in the zinc prices along with an increase in the volumes has contributed to their profits, which has reached 20% at present.

Moreover, the statics reported in India business news illustrate that on the production front too, the production of integrated zinc and lead also went down by 46% and 11% respectively.
