They are offering users three months of unlimited 4G LTE data, text messages, voice calls and other services like TV streaming, movies and on demand music streaming, etc.

Getting a Jio sim is not easy these days. You may have to wait in long queues for hours. Jio is owned by India’s largest industrial house- Reliance. Numerous users who are using the Sim card from last month have reported that they are able to use fast streaming internet. One of the instances is quoted from Hyderabad where a 23 year Old tech blogger used more than 350 GB of data in about 45 days. However, other users have also experienced that even if their usage period gets completed even then they are able to access remain internet.

To get a Jio connection, users will need to purchase a LYF branded smartphone. This phone is sold by Reliance Digital, which is also a chain of Reliance Industries. Users who purchase LYF smartphone will automatically get eligible for a Jio Connection. Jio Sim Cards have become hot potato of the country. Krishna Janmashtami also known by the names Saatam Aatham, Gokulashtami, Srikrishna Jayanti is celebrated with great pomp and show in India. On the occasion of Janmashtami, large number of people fast and worship Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna is dressed up in new clothes and rocked in the cradle. The festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm in Mathura, where Lord Krishna was born. Great enthusiasm can be seen among the worshippers on the occasion of the festival. Children are dressed in the Lord Krishna’s avatar and Radha and celebrations are held in schools. Worshippers visit Vaishnava temples, even before the festival begins. Various events and programmes are organized in the temples which include Kirtan, Japa and prayers. Some devotees also prepare delicious dishes while others perform drama in temples. At the night, priests, pull the curtains apart to reveal the freshly dressed deity of Lord Krishna.

The Krishna Janmashtami celebrations are a significance of Indian art and culture. Devotees decorate their homes and prepare garlands and hang balloons. Chanting of Krishna mantras can be heard in every second house. Alternatively, CD’s and Bhajans heighten the spiritual environment. Indian Art and Culture News- Chandigarh Capitol Complex and KNP Added in the World Heritage List

The latest Indian art and culture news is, UNESCO has listed Chandigarh’s Capitol Complex and Khangchendzonga National Park in the world heritage sites. The decision regarding this was taken by the 40th session of the world heritage committee of UNESC,O which was held in Istanbul, Turkey. KNP has been added to the list because it exhibits the qualities of both cultural and natural significance. KNP has now become the first ‘mixed heritage site’ from India. It covers 25% area of the Sikkim and is said to home to a significant number of endemic, rare and threatened species and plants.

The park also includes the unique diversity of the animals, plants, plains, lakes, glaciers and snow capped mountains which are covered with ancient forests. KNP is truly an example of traditional knowledge and environmental preservation. On the other hand, Chandigarh’s Capitol Complex was also added in the Transnational Category. The Capitol Complex of Chandigarh was designed by Swiss French architecture- Le Corbusier. The site has been added to the list in recognition of Le Corbusier’s architectural works in the different parts of the world. The Chandigarh’s capitol complex was designed by the Swiss French architecture as a symbol of the modern and independent India.

In the 40th session of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO, three sites from India were inscribed in the list. Earlier, Bihar’s Nalnda University was also added in the list. Now, India has become the first country to get their three sites inscribed in the world heritage list at a single session. With this, India has now 35 heritage sites, including 27 cultural heritage sites, 7 natural sites and 1 mixed site. Indian Gymnast Dipa Karmakar Shines at Rio Olympics

The Rio Olympics have started and Indian gymnast Dipa Karmakar has brought pride to the country by making it to the Olympic final. Dipa became the first Indian woman to do so and her parents in Tripura are praying for her victory in the finals. Dipa’s father is a former Sports Authority of India Coach in weightlifting. Since Dipa is turning 23 on Tuesday, her mother has organized special pooja to pray for the victory of her daughter. This is the latest sports news in Hindi.

Dipa’s mother Gauri told the media that their daughter has fulfilled their long dream by getting berth for the final event. As she was talking to the media, tears of joy rolled down her eyes. Dipa has certainly brought pride to the country by scripting history to become the first Indian woman gymnast to enter in the Olympic finals. Dulal Karmakar, father of Dipa said that they spent the entire night along with their relatives and neighbors in front of the television. He also added that Dipa called them to tell that she is feeling a bit nervous for the competition. Dipa will be competing in the finals on 14th August.

Chief Minister of Tripura-Manik Sarkar, who is himself a sports lover, said that it is a matter of great joy and pride. Bangladesh Will Tour India in 2017 is the Latest Indian Cricket News

The latest Indian Cricket News is, Bangladesh will tour India for a one off test from February 8 to 12 in the year 2017. The match will be played in Hyderabad next year. Since India has full members, so they will be hosting Bangladesh for a test. They have featured in two limited-overs tournaments in the country. Anurag Thakur- BCCI president said that since India is a leading test playing nation and it is the responsibility of the BCCI to give responsibility to every test playing nation. He also announced the one off Test match with Bangladesh next year, which will add to the home season 2016-2017.

The Indian home season 2016-2017 will include 13 tests, three T20Is, 8 ODI’s. In addition to Bangladesh, England, New Zealand and Australia will also visit India during the season. The one off test will be played right after the limited overs series against England, which will conclude in Bangalore on February 1.

The BCB Chief- Nazmul Hassan, also contributed by saying that match is a reason for celebration. Because Indian and Bangladeshi Cricketers will be representing and are much excited and have given the competitive nature of their limited overs in the recent years.
