The Divisive Politics Of BJP Is Destroying The Diversity Of India; Capt. Amarinder Singh

Congress party representative and current Chief Minister of Punjab, Capt. Amarinder Singh said that BJP is using poor tactics like destroying the diversity of India, which is our country’s unique strength, with their “divisive politics”.

Talking on the Badal case, the CM said that he would never spare anyone who has done anything illegal and if anyone found guilty, legally, they would be punished for the crime done against the people of the state.

He also added that he would however follow the due judicial process as per the Indian constitution, "Even if Prakash Singh Badal is found guilty, he will be punished," said the CM.

"They (Badals) will have to face the consequences of their actions, if found responsible," he added. "I believe in the Constitution and the rule of law, and am totally against politics of vendetta..,” Capt. Amarinder said.

The statement came as a befitting reply to the statement made by former Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr. Prakash Singh Badal, when a few days ago h said that Capt. Amarinder’s only motive is to put him behind the bars.

Earlier in February, Capt. Amarinder Singh mad a statement in which he said that those who were responsible for the horrendous" 2015 sacrilege incidents in the state would be punished to set an example. He said this while addressing the Punjab Assembly.

Badal, in his previous statement also said that the Special Investigation Team formed to probe sacrilege and police firing incidents in 2015 and Justice Ranjit Singh Commission to be a drama of Congress and added that Amarinder's only goal is to put me in jail."

Previously, Amarinder Singh said attending a rally "My only wish is that everyone in Punjab should be happy, the state should be free of drugs and unemployment, and there should be prosperity. That is my ideal Punjab,” he said, adding “we will ensure that this dream is achieved”.

Randeep Hooda Comes In Support Of Alia After Kangana’s Attack, Rangoli Brand Him As A Permanent Failure

Randeep Hooda has extended support to his Highway co-actor Alia Bhatt after actress Kangana Ranaut attacked her for the second time. Randeep said that he is impressed with how Alia is not letting Kangana’s words affect her.

“Dearest @aliaa08 I’m so glad you are not letting the opinions of very occasional actors and chronic victims affect you and your work ... kudos to you for your continued efforts to outdo yourself,” Randeep tweeted to which Alia responded with a reply reading “Randy”.

However, this wants to be taken lightly by Kangana team and it was her sister Rangoli Chandel who responded first. Rangoli called our Randeep for supporting Alia and also named him a “permanent failure”.

“Alia baby ko bachane ko nepotism gang ki khud ki himmat nahin toh tujhko aage kiya, I know during film Ungli what u did, kitna harass kiya tune Kanganako aur kitna bada chatukar hai tu Karan Johar ka magar phir bhi tera kuch nahin hua, at least people like Alia are successful because of chamchagiri, bhai tu to permanent failure hai. (The nepotism gang couldn’t muster the courage so they put you on the frontline to save Alia baby. I know what you did during Ungli, how much you harassed Kangana and how big a bootlicker you are of Karan Johar. Even then, you could not amount to anything. At least people like Alia are successful due to their sycophant nature but you are a permanent failure.)

In a recent statement, Kangana said that Alia is a mediocre actress and comparing her work in Manikarnika with Alia’s in Gully Boy is very embarrassing to her. “I am embarrassed...What is there to beat in Gully Boy performance ....same snappy muh phat girl... Bollywood’s idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please. Media have taken filmy kids love too far. Stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised,” Kangana said talking to a leading media house.

Alia gave a befitting reply to Kangana’s statement and said, “I respect Kangana’s work a lot and I respect her opinion. If she feels a particular way she must have reason to feel that way. I would rather remember how much she had praised me after watching Raazi. And I’d just like to focus on my work. Maybe she will appreciate me again if I work hard enough.”

PM Modi & Trump discussed the US trade deficit & Afghanistan issue: White House

In a statement, the White House said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the U.S. President Trump had a telephonic call on Monday, wherein, they discussed about lowering the US trade deficit with India and on increasing their cooperation in Afghanistan.

The official White House statement read, "The leaders agreed to strengthen the US-India strategic partnership in 2019 and exchanged perspectives on how to reduce the US trade deficit with India, expand security and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific, and increase cooperation in Afghanistan,"
Recently, the US Administration raised the tariffs on import of steel and aluminum from India, recently. This was one of the major step taken by the administration, under the Trump’s drive to reduce the U.S. deficit and promote manufacturing jobs in the U.S.

While India threatened the U.S. for a strong retaliation, it also added that the country won’t take any action until the end of this month.

Prime Minister Modi and President Trump also discussed about the two countries cooperating at the Afghanistan issue. As per the records, a U.S. official recently declared that President Trump is planning to withdraw a major segment of the U.S. troops in Afghanistan. The news suggest that out of 14000 U.S. Troops, Trump will recall 5000.

The reduced presence of U.S. Military in Afghanistan means that there would be minimization of the mission of training Afghan forces and waging an air campaign against the Taliban and other militant groups.

On the other hand, Trump seems to be in trouble with his border wall project. Recently, Trump gave a statement wherein he said that the ex-Presidents of America wanted to install the border wall. However, 4 ex-presidents have already declined the statement, claiming it is not true.
"This should have been done by all of the presidents that preceded me," Trump said. "And they all know it. Some of them have told me that we should have done it."

Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter have said that the statement is false.
