No issues with CBFC, my problem is with society, Says Ekta Kapoor

After a tough fight with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), finally, the trailer of Alankrita Shrivastav directed movie 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' was released in Mumbai this Tuesday making the latest national news. 

Ekta Kapoor was present among the promoters and crew of the movie as she is having the presenting and distributing rights of the film. She told the media that she doesn’t have any problems with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), but with the society. 

''There is no problem with CBFC; my problem is with society, which at some point speaks about the same issue in its own ways. If you talk to any girl, you will come to know about five to 10 such incidents happening with her in one day where, being a woman, she has to prove herself a little harder. She has to learn how to combat from a very young age,'' Ekta Said. 

Talking about the poster of the movie which has a middle finger shown, Ekta said, "The middle finger is not for the CBFC but pointed towards the patriarchal society that does not let us come out, which compels us to suppress our voice. That is why this issue is not just CBFC's, this issue is about ideology, it is about patriarchy." The entire panel has members Ekta Kapoor, Alankrita Srivastava, Konkana Sen Sharma, Ratna Pathak Shah, Aahana Kumra and Plabita Borthakur. 

It is a Prakash Jha produced film that was in the tough scrutiny of CBFC for last six months. The film revolves around the story of four women and their desires for sex & freedom. However, the film just got an approval with “A” certificate. 

The film is to be released on 21st July and is expected to be an off the league movie.

Champions Trophy; Punters lose up to Rs. 2500 crore as India loses in the final match.

The sad loss of Indian Cricket team in the final match of the ICC Champions Trophy against arch-rivals Pakistan, in London, not only left millions of cricket fans devastated but also broke hearts of hundreds of bettors and bookmakers. 

As per the estimate, there was around 80-90% of Indian punters who staked their bet on the men in blue. There were high chances that the firm favorites with an incredible record of 12-2, against the neighbors, would definitely win. 

The eye-popping media covered to match, which transfixed the entire population of the two countries had around Rs. 2000- Rs. 2500 crore riding. There is no legal provision for betting in India except Horse Racing and casinos in some states. Sikkim is the only state to allow legal betting on cricket in India. However, the underground betting market in India is observed to be strong and worth thousands of pof crores. 

There was no betting on Hockey Match: 

The bookies confirmed that there was huge money riding on the match on India’s win, not only in the nation but in many countries abroad. This primarily included Gulf countries as India Vs. Pakistan is one major sports event. 

However, the Hockey World League semi-final game on Sunday had no bettors interested. "When the (cricket) match started, the odds were in favor of India. If the Men in Blue would have won the match, then punters would have earned 80 paise for every rupee while Pakistan's rate was around Rs 3.40," said a Delhi-based bookie to a reporter. 

The bets witnessed patriotism: 

"It is certain that most of the Indian punters burnt their fingers in the match. The Indian team was stronger and had also defeated Pakistan in the tournament earlier, so huge money was riding on it. Even patriotism was at an all- time high and maximum bets were placed on Team India," said Jay Sayta, founder of GLaws.in, a gaming laws' web portal.

Disha Patani appears all excited n social media for being roped in for ‘Baaghi 2”

The Latest National News declares the name of the leading lady in the Sajid Nadiawala’s production Baaghi 2. Disha Patani will be cast against Tiger Shroff in the sequel of Baaghi released in 2016. 

The Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment declared the news on Twitter. The banner announce led the leading lady to which Disha responded excitedly on the social media website. 

NGE said, "Here's welcoming @DishPatani to the #NGEFamily! ?Super excited for #Baaghi2! #RebelForLove @iTIGERSHROFF #SajidNadiadwala @khan_ahmedasas." 

 The young actress appears excited to the chance replied to the tweet, thanking Nadiadwala, "Thank you so much ?????? so honored ????I am so excited, can't wait for it to start @sajidnadiawala @khan_ahmedasas @iTIGERSHROFF #baaghi2?" 

The first looks of the movie were released in the Month of May and received a lot of appreciations from all around. People are already excited to watch the movie. 

Baaghi was released in 2016 and was commended as one of the best films of the year. It was also the highest grosser movie of the year. 

The lead actor of the movie, Tiger Shroff also took to Twitter to congratulate Disha saying, "Congratulations d! ??? kill it like you always do! To this Disha replied, "Thankssss tiggy ?? all the best for #Munna Michael ???? you dance like a dream ??" 

Baaghi 2 is a hat-trick movie for Sajid & Tiger as the two have paired together for Baaghi & Heropanti before. 

The movie will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and will be directed by Ahmed Khan. 

The film will release on April 2018.

Qatar rift” Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain & Egypt broke off all diplomatic ties

In a shocking step some of the major Gulf Countries and Egypt declared cutting off their relationship with Qatar. The countries declared the news on Monday followed by many different announcements. This includes the announcement for Qatari people living in the United Arab Emirate to leave the country borders within 14 days. 

The step is one-of-its-kind in the history and is being claimed as a strategic plan. Qatar has been facing an allegation of supporting terrorism and disturbing the balance of the Gulf area since long. However, in the recent Qatar meet all the countries broke off their diplomatic ties with Qatar accusing it of being a terrorist seeker. 

Qatar is knowm to have deeper ties with a terrorism group Islamic Brotherhood and also for supporting al-Qaeda. However, Qatar has very strongly declined all the allegations stating that all this is “unjustified” and “irrational”. The Latest National News has shaken the economy. 

Reportedly, Maldives & Yemen will also join the countries in boycotting Qatar soon. The step is also being quoted Trump induced as the action came after his recent visit to Saudi Arabia. The US President Donal Trump also spoke with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Tuesday. According to the White House Statement- "The two leaders discussed the critical goals of preventing the financing of terrorist organisations and eliminating the promotion of extremism by any nation in the region. The president underscored that a united Gulf Cooperation Council is critical to defeating terrorism and promoting regional stability." 

UAE has also instructed all its officials to leave Qatar within 24 hours. Meanwhile, all the flights that connect Doha with all the other countries have been stopped for uncertain time. This includes Etihad Airways & Emirates airline.
