The major wait of the individuals has been over who were waiting for a
long time to win their favourites celebrities best titles they could.
The 62nd Jio Filmfare Award Event was conducted on January 14th. The
event was graced by the most actors of the Bollywood film fraternity and
the event was hosted by actor Shah Rukh Khan. According to the latest news aggregator, the film Dangal swept away three major awards.
Actor Aamir Khan won the best Actor, Nitesh Tiwari won the award for
best director. On the other hand, Actress Alia Bhatt won Best Actor
Award for her smashing performance in “Udta Punjab”.

graced the event with her Mother Soni Razdan and sister and received the
Best Actor award from Boney Kapoor and Shridevi. Very talented and
beautiful actress Sonam Kapoor won the Critics Award for her amazing
performance in the movie “Neerja”. On the other hand, actor Shahid
Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee won the award for their portrayals in “Udta
Punjab” and “Aligarh’ respectively under the male category. While the
movie “Neerja” grabbed home “Best Film” award again. The best Debut
Awards were won by Diljit Dosanjh (Male) for “Udta Punjab” and Ritika
Singh (female) for “Saala Khadoos” respectively. Payal Saluja won the
best costume for Udta Punjab. Stunt coordinator and Acion Director Shyam
kaushal won the “Best Action” award for the movie “Dangal”. Ae Dil hai Mushkil- a Karan Johar film grabbed home four awards.

Arijit Singh won the “Best Plackback” for his title song “Ae Dil Hai
Mushkil”. Best Music Album award and best Music director award was
bagged by Pritam. On the other hand, Amitabh Bhattacharya won the Best
Lyrics award for song “Channa Mareya”. Neha Bhasin won the best
Plackback Singer (female) for the song “ Jag Ghoomeya” from the movie
Sultan. Those were several highlights from the Jio Filmfare awards. For
