BSF to Hold Fair Enquiry on Soldier Food Matter

You might have seen a video going viral on all social media platforms about a soldier making plea to the prime minister of India for being served low quality food, which is the latest news India. Soldier Tej Bahadur Yadav, who is a part of Border Security Force said the troops are ill treated and are served bad quality food. Not only this, sometimes they have to make it empty stomach. 

Following this incident India's Home Minister- Rajnath Singh said in a tweet that he has asked for a report from BSF and would take immediate actions. Junior Home Minister Kirren Rjju also replied in a tweet that they have taken serious note of the issue and would appropriate steps. Also he mentioned that he found high level of satisfaction among soldiers during his visits. BSF also responded in a tweet that they have already sent a senior officer to investigate into the matter. The Inspector General of Police DK Upadhayay said Mr. Yadav has several complaints against him and he has already faced disciplinary action in 2010. He has been shifted to headquarters so that fair enquiry can be conducted. DIG BSF Mr. Mann said he has four bad entries in his 20 years of service, because of which he was not promoted, which could the reason of frustration. He has been found to be indulged in the past too in various inter disciplinary actions. He was about to be court-martialed but considering his family he was not. 

Upadayay also said that the quality of the food might not be great but nobody else has made complaint on this. The matter has took serious turn and outcomes are yet to be revealed.
