Vikram Bhatt confesses of drugs party in Bollywood, but not of attending them

Bollywood filmmaker Vikram Bhatt in an interview said that he has been told that drugs are served in trays in high-profile Bollywood parties but he has never experienced the same himself. He commented after actress Kangana Ranaut said that over 99% of Bollywood is corrupted with drugs.

While several people refuted Kangana for making a fool of the Bollywood industry, there are a few who came in her support or at least matched their tone with her. As per Kangana, drugs flow like water in most Bollywood parties as well as on the film sets. The entire drug controversy stirred after Rhea Chakraborty was investigated about drug abuse in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. She was arrested after being charged with drug procurement for Sushant.

Vikram during an interview said, “I have never been to a party where drugs have been taken by anyone. I have been too big parties. Somebody once told me that in some parties, different kinds of drugs are offered in trays. The guests then pick up the drug of their choice. However, I have never seen any such thing in the parties I’ve been to.”

Vikram’s daughter, Krishna also came forward that she too had heard about such parties but have never been a part of it. However, Krishna also said that it is unfairto target Bollywood for drug consumption as many other industries also must be indulged in such behavior.

“Now you tell me that it is possible that the consumption of drugs in the entire country is only in the film industry. Everyone knows that this is not possible. There are rich and high profile people who are not a part of the film industry. But people are trying to get a hold of only Bollywood celebrities who are in the limelight,” Vikram said. “I am not saying that there is no usage of drugs in the film industry. If this is happening in the whole world then must be going on in the film industry too. It seems childish to say and believe that drugs are exclusive to Bollywood. Is the Narcotics Control Bureau created just for the film industry?”

SC to announce verdict on CBI Probe for Sushant's death

The Supreme Court today will give the verdict about whether or not the CBI should be handed over the probe of the mysterious death of Sushant Singh Rajput which is claimed to be suicide. Sushant died by suicide in Mumbai two months back.

The verdict will be pronounced by Justice Hrishikesh Roy on a petition filed by Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant's alleged girlfriend and actor, who with the plea has sought the transfer of the FIR lodged by Rajput's father in Patna to Mumbai, the place where Sushant committed suicide.

The FIR was referred to the CBI from the Bihar government with request to the agency to undertake the investigation of the case. But, Maharashtra Government did not accepted the request and instead demanded that the investigation must be handed over to Mumbai Police in whose jurisdiction the incident happened.

Before Justice Roy concluded the hearing on August 14, made clear that Rhea Chakraborty has no problems with the CBI probe. "You may be correct in saying that you have been a victim of media focus on the case but your stand is that if CBI probe is ordered into the incident, you have no objection," he had said.

"We do not know what is the role of Chakraborty in the case— witness, accused, complainant or nobody? Yet, she moves an application in the SC seeking transfer of the FIR to Mumbai. What is her interest in seeking transfer when she should be  interested only in a fair probe, irrespective of the agency  which investigates the case," Mehta had said.

Sushant Singh Rajput's death have become an international sensation as there are proofs emerging indicating it to be a murder and not a suicide. the verdict will decide who will be responsible for the probe and the issues can be sorted.

Tapsee Pannu replies to the post calling her a supporter of “oppressors” in Bollywood

Tapsee Pannu has an answer for the Twitter user who blamed her and Swara Bhaskar of standing with ‘oppressors’ and further stated that if ‘next time a struggling actor gives up on life like Sushant Singh Rajput’ they would be the one responsible.

Tapsee went on criticizing the way Bollywood treats outsiders and said that it is a “purely negative” way of demoralizing someone and would even result in killing the passion of a talented artist.
“God forbid next time a struggling actor gives up on life like Sushant Singh Rajput please do remember how @taapsee and @ReallySwara stood with oppressors. What an unfortunate, bitter world,” was the post from a Twitter user which started the controversy. Tapsee responded with another post which reads, “Next time another outstanding talent gets scared to even enter our industry n kills his passion and hope to contribute to Indian cinema coz some people painted purely negative picture about how outsiders are treated do remember YOU are ALSO responsible for it.”

A short while ago, in an interview with Republic TV, Kangana Ranaut also called outTapsee and Swara as needy outsiders who want to win favor from Karan Johar. Criticizing the practice of nepotism in Bollywood, Kangana said, “What I want to convey through this interview is... for me, I have only to lose here... because I know tomorrow they will get some 20 needy outsiders like Taapsee Pannu or Swara Bhasker who will get up and say, ‘Oh! Only Kangana has problems with nepotism. We love Karan Johar’. If you love Karan Johar, why are you both B-grade actresses? You are both better looking than Alia Bhatt and Ananya (Panday). You both are better actresses. Why don’t you get work? Your whole existence is proof of nepotism. What are you telling me about how happy you are with the industry?”

Tapsee replied to Kangana’s comment during an interview with a leading media house and said, “I never mentioned anywhere I like Karan Johar or anyone she alleges, but I have never said I hate them either. So, the fact that you don’t hate someone she hates, is equivalent to ‘you like that person and you suck up to that person’? I don’t even know him beyond formal ‘hi, hello, thank you’. How is this even logical?”
