Facebook Adds New Feature- Live Audio

Are you still waiting when book reading and news radio would be made available on Facebook? If this is the case, then there is news for you to be happy. Facebook’s new feature- Live Audio has made reading books, interviews and news radio available on facebook, which has become the latest science and technology news. This feature was launched today and it is complementing Facebook live video streaming. BBC World Service, LBC, Adam Grant, Harper Collins, Britt Bennett, will be the first publishers who are going to access the newly added feature of facebook. Furthermore, facebook team has promised that early next year, they are planning to make this format broadly available to the people and publishers. 

With the help of Live Audio, you can continue browsing as you listen. This will be an added advantage for Android users, who want to browse many things, while Live Audio will keep playing. On the other hand, iOS users can browse the rest of facebook with live stream running and opening another app will cut the sound. This video stream can be used as page’s cover image when creating a stream. The subscribers of the Live Stream will be notified about the changes. The live stream will feature a broad range of content, ranging from radio stations, helping podcasters find new episodes online, authors find their books and read, celebrities doing questioning and answering and musicians broadcasting their studio sessions, etc. 

Recently, Facebook has been involved in the production of various products and features. Before the launch of Live Audio, Facebook, last week launched Live 360 video and Live streaming from Oculus VR. It is expected that this feature of Facebook will please the publishers and they would be able to take maximum benefits out of it.
